S.A.S.S is an intensive, strength-based, client-centered program that is designed to assist individuals that struggle with managing their anger. We are a group of certified professionals that are dedicated to delivering top-notch quality service one individual, one session at a time.
 
We will take a journey to self-discovery, challenging old thought processes, attitudes and belief systems that contribute to anger behavioral problems. ABOUT S.A.S.S

Gloria A. Simmons MSW, LMSW, CAMS II, CEO
Gloria Simmons holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, in Baltimore, MD, and is currently licensed in the state of Georgia and Maryland.  She is also a Certified Anger Management Instructor in the state of Georgia.  She has 20 + years of experience in the Clinical field and has worked as a trainer and instructor for the past 15 years at various mental health agencies providing workshops and group for Anger Management, domestic violence, Grief, life skills, building positive relationships and Emotional Intelligence. She is passionate about the lives of the people that she educates, with becoming the best person that they can be and reaching for their highest potential.

Marc Wiggins, B.S., PP,
Marc Wiggins is a young educator, who currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from Binghamton University, in Binghamton, NY, in May of 2013 and currently holds a valid Georgia Paraprofessional Certification. Wiggins have more than 5 years of experience training with human development, education development, and positive behavioral management skills. Wiggins enjoy encouraging all people, helping others seek growth in education or any management skills. Wiggins is also proficient in American Sign Language and considered as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult) for over 15 years. At present, Wiggins help manage the basketball team as an assistant coach at AASD. Wiggins enjoy being in various schools and educational settings and overall enjoy working with others in any capacity.   

Angela N. Christian, B.S., PP,
Angela Christian holds a BA Degree in Visual Communications of Arts and Design from Virginia State University, in Petersburg, VA and currently holds a Georgia Paraprofessional Certification. Angela brings 10+ years of experience in providing education and coaching to assist clients with reaching their life goals. She has extensive experience working in the community teaching, and developing stratagies and techniques to improve and increase self esteem and self worth of those she serves.    

Shamone Purnell BS. SEDU, PP
Shamone Purnell holds a certificate in Technology CEO as well as a Duel Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Social Science from County College of Morris in Randolf, NJ. Shamone also holds a BS in Business Science Management from Shorter University in Rome, Ga. She has worked as a Human Resource Manager for a Major Corporation for over 8 years as well as worked in the Educational sector for 10 years. Shamone was employed as a Technology Instructor of Saturday School Enrichment Program, Technology-Computer Lab Paraprofessional, as well as KK-Paraprofessional and Paraprofessional within the Department of Exceptional Students. Her main objective is to give back to her community with the objective of impacting positive change.

Eryka Sandridge BS, MS, 
LPCA (Student Member)
Eryka Sandridge is currently receiving her Master of Science Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Addictions. As a current member of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association, she will be receiving her license as an Associate Professional Counselor upon graduation. Eryka is a grauate of Coker College, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Communication, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management and a Minor in Spanish. While in undergraduate school she spent a year in Ecuador to get a better understanding of diversity and to become culturally enhanced. She has applied her understanding of different cultures throughout her graduate studies, allowing her to work with diverse groups of people. Due to experiences she received while studying abroad she is now conversational in Spanish
